Well, I survived the work weeks so we packed up the land rover with dogs and archery stuff and headed to Wales for Jools and Janey’s wedding.
We spent the weekend camping at Cae Mabon retreat and stayed the night in a hobbit house π lots of fun was had and a nice walk around the lake and through Llanberis on Saturday with the dogs.
Sunday we went for a walk in Llanberis pass before heading cross country to Northumberland, to visit Mum and Dad Tindale in their lovely new home! We pulled in to a rather grand driveway where the Winnie and Murphy met Meg dog and set free in the garden. Cups of tea and a tour before bed π
Monday morning, breakfast and a trip to Holy Island to walk the dogs on the beach and managed to walk on the only part of the island coast that wasn’t sandy! π still a nice walk though!
Back at the house we had archery and bacon sandwiches on the front lawn, before setting out on the journey home to the cat.
I had a relaxing week off while Tom was busy working, then it was the weekend again, and time for Applecross Marquee Dance. We worked Saturday before going over and meeting friends on the beach front and setting up camp. Dog fun and drinking ensued, before going dancing until the early hours to a great band Rhythm n Reel.
The morning after we went to the Walled Garden for a hangover cure breakfast then whiled away the hours by the sea, before going home and getting a good nights sleep π
Back at work now, looking forward to Shieldaig FΓͺte this weekend! 2015 has been great so far and so much more to come! Hope yours is too! Bye for now
